Planning a party at home can be stressful. Kids hiding in their room while mom or dad are making last-minute mad dashes with the vacuum cleaner are well documented funny videos. Have you ever wondered how a Special Event caterer manages the meal service for multiple events? When you get down to the basics, it’s not all that different than planning for a small dinner party, it comes down to organization. Start with deciding on your menu and then from there, the list of potential equipment needs falls into place. Most of what we do nowadays is computer-based, but this old-school event packing list has a comprehensive inventory of items to consider when you are getting started.

Russo’s Catering Named Winner Of The Knot BEST OF WEDDINGS 2021

15th Annual Best of Weddings Awards Honor the Top Wedding Vendors Across America

St. Louis, MO / December 2, 2021 — Russo’s Catering is pleased to announce that we have been selected as a 2021 winner of The Knot Best of Weddings, an accolade representing the highest- and most-rated wedding professionals as reviewed by real couples, their families and wedding guests on The Knot, a leading wedding planning, and registry brand and app. This is the 3rd consecutive year Russo’s Catering has been named a winner of The Knot Best of Weddings awards.

Despite COVID-19 interrupting many 2020 weddings and social events, wedding professionals around the nation continued to support to-be-weds throughout their wedding planning journeys. From adjusting future schedules to make way for postponed weddings to helping couples host socially distanced weddings following state and local guidelines and restrictions with an increased focus on health and safety, wedding pros—and the industry as a whole—rallied together in 2020, ultimately helping couples continue to celebrate life and love. The Knot 2021 Best of Weddings recognition honors the vendors who went above and beyond to help to-be-weds navigate the global pandemic.

In 2021, five percent of hundreds of thousands of local wedding professionals listed on The Knot received this distinguished award. In its fifteenth annual year, The Knot continues its longstanding tradition of supporting local wedding vendors with The Knot Best of Weddings 2021, an annual by-couples, for-couples guide to the top wedding professionals across the country. This comes as the industry prepares for an increase in upcoming celebrations due to postponed events throughout 2020.

To determine the winners, The Knot analyzed its millions of user reviews across various vendor categories—including venues, musicians, florists, photographers, caterers, and more—to find the highest-rated vendors of the year. These winners represent the best of the best wedding professionals that engaged couples should consider booking for their own unique weddings.

The Knot has inspired 25 million couples (and counting!) to plan a wedding that’s uniquely theirs. With a rich history of providing high-quality content and inspiration, The Knot makes it easy for couples to connect with and book the right wedding professionals to create their perfect wedding day. On The Knot Marketplace, couples can connect with any of the hundreds of thousands of local wedding professionals across the country. The Knot Best of Weddings gives couples the confidence to find and book the best local vendors to bring their wedding visions to life. In combination with years of trusted content, The Knot’s innovative technology simplifies wedding planning, inspiring couples to plan a wedding unique to their love story and personalities.

Wedding professionals who win The Knot Best of Weddings are members of WeddingPro, the leading B2B wedding brand. Check out our new Thanksgiving menu

As we prepare for Thanksgiving without a Macy’s parade, we are grateful that 2020 has given us the opportunity to spend more time with our families. And for the most part, while it has otherwise been a year to forget, it is important to remember that not everyone will have the opportunity to sit down to a Thanksgiving feast.

In fact, some do not share the good fortune of knowing when their next meal is coming. Conscious of our ability to make a difference and looking for a way to continue to develop social responsibility, Russo’s Catering recently partnered with GiftAMeal, a mobile application that helps provide a meal to someone in need each time a user takes a photo on its app.

With over 200 restaurant partners across St. Louis, you may be familiar with how the program works. If not, here is a short 2-minute video that outlines how they have already provided more than 500,000 meals. To make this work, Russo’s Catering needs your help! If you download the app and search under the category “Catering” …Russo’s will be one of the only options that come up. We want to show that the catering community can make a difference as well.

Imagine the impact we could make if each time your company ordered lunch for you and your co-workers, everybody snapped a photo, and an equal number of meals were donated. Or share a picture of your family enjoying Thanksgiving Dinner from Russo’s …post a picture and a meal or two is donated.

Let us know if we can assist you with your turkey, potatoes, or stuffing. And of course, we will have pies flying out the doors.

And while you’re at it, take a photo and gift a meal!
